Just one of 23 built in this configuration, this sand over beige 1962 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II Drophead, although built as a right-hand drive vehicle, was first delivered to John Halperin, an English citizen residing in New York. Perhaps Mr. Halperin intended to return to England with the car, but, subsequently, the Rolls-Royce came to California and never left the United States.
The car has recently been fitted with aftermarket air conditioning; in all other respects, it is original, including the top but excluding the recently replaced tires.
