The GT 500 boasts a 428-cu-in. engine with hydraulic lifters designed for high speeds. Carol Shelby’s iconic muscle car is a true fastback with the roofline sloping all the way to the rear of the car, a body modification more sweeping and distinguished than past productions. A unique grill with two 7-inch driving lights could be found under the fiberglass nose extension, which was exaggerated from the production Mustang.
With just 2,048 total GT 500’s machined, ours remains in its original lime gold exterior and parchment interior. The V8 engine was so powerful for its time, that it was unparalleled in speed on the streets.
